Month 7

Month 7 was another one for the books.  You are continuing to grow like a weed. We aren't sure of your exact stats this month because you now only have to go to the doctor every other month.  But mama's arms and your clothes are telling me that you are a healthy, growing girl.  It is getting harder and harder to take your monthly pictures.  You are a busy little girl.  You just want to move and play and grab everything you can reach.

We hung out a lot with Mimi and Uncle Robbie this month.  It was his birthday and we went out to eat where you enjoyed your first ordered meal in a restaurant.. avocados! mashed, ofcourse.  You are also obsessed with what everyone is drinking.. you love glasses and always try to get your hands on them

Because of the infatuation you have with glasses/drinks I decided to introduce you to your very own cup.  I let you try your first sip of juice.. I dont think you were ready for the sweetness..

I often think about how quickly time is flying.  I find myself really trying to soak up and enjoy moments with you.  You are constantly changing in so many ways. It is so bitter sweet.  I love watching you grow and do new things but I just love this time with you and get scared thinking it will all be over before we know it.  I know one day you will be a teenager and you might think you hate me or be embarrassed by me, as all teenage girls are at some point. These days wont last forever but I am trying to enjoy each and every moment with you while I can.

You still look just like your daddy.  It is kind of freaky sometimes.  I look at you and I see him.  I still can't believe you are our baby.  I do see glimpses of myself sometimes too.  Mainly when you smile.  I can't get enough of your precious face.

You are still loving bath time.  We introduced some bath toys this months since you are sitting up so well.  Did I mention you sit now?  Yes,  still a bit wobbly to be completely alone but you are so close to mastering it. Can't believe it!

We are going to Florida next month so mommy had to stock up on some bathing suits obvioulsy. Daddy doesn't want you in a bikini because he is already over protective of his little girl so I compromised with the tankini..you didn't mind modeling for me..

The weather is continuing to warm up little by little and we broke out your big girl stroller and have been hitting the town for walks.  You love being outside.  Sitting up high so you can see everything is the only way you will have it.

You adore Molly and she loves you too.  She really does.  Whenever you cry she runs over to you.  She continues to howl when you cry (something she never did before you came along)  You are very gentle for the most part with her and she is very patient if you forget.  I'm so happy you guys are buds.

We celebrated Easter in Month 7!  We had a great time celebrating with both the Larks and O'Rourkes.  One of the things I love about you is that you go to everyone.  You let everyone hold you and are happy with everyone's company.  You make everyone smile.

You handled meeting the Easter Bunny like a boss.  Honestly, a six foot bunny is scary in my opinion.   I mean you weren't thrilled but you tolerated it so mommy could get her fix with a cute first Easter picture.  I also had fun picking out your Easter outfits.

We channeled the Maria VonTrapp look here (dont worry you will know who she is very soon)

You are a very animated little girl.. you have the best and cutest expressions.  You want to speak so badly.. you babble pretty constantly.  You will get there soon enough but until then I am pretty sure I know what you are thinking when you make some of these faces..

Things you love: Bath time, being outside, Molly, Sprout, Food, glasses/drinks, the car, anything mommy will let you put in your mouth, your baby einstein MP3 player

Things you dont like: getting dressed, taking naps (unless its with mommy and daddy) Not being able to see everything that is going on, taking pitcures, sitting still

You continue to be a joy each and every day.  You make me and your daddy so happy.  We love you so much.
